Introduction
Maltodextrin is white powder made from refined corn starch enzymatically by advanced processing technology(liquefying,refining,concentration,spraying and drying). DE value of maltodextrin is between 10%-20%.Sweetness of maltodextrin is very low and it has no special odor.Charactoristics are:low sweetness; no strange odor; easy to digest, low calorie, good solubility, low fermentation ability, good filling effect, good emulsification and thickening effect, good stability and so on.
Maltodextrin is widely applied in beverage, candy, frozen food, infant milk powder, soybean milk powder, health products, instant food, canned food and solid drinks. It can also be used in pharmaceutical,daily chemicals and textile industry.
