Agar Agar is a kind of plant based stabilizer and gelling agent which is widely used in food and beverages, and for Plant Tissue Culture Application , helping plants growing.

Agar is a gelatinous substance.Agar Agar is derived from the polysaccharide agarose, which forms the supporting structure in the cell walls of certain species of algae, and which is released on boiling. Agar Agar is actually the resulting mixture of two components: the linear polysaccharide agarose, and a heterogeneous mixture of smaller molecules called agaropectin.

Agar can also be used in the production of many foods & beverages. For example, marmalade, ice cream, bread, cake, soft candy as well as serving as coagulators, thickening agents, emulsifiers, anti staling agents and stabilizers.
